Woke up from a couple crazy good dreams and wrote this. Enjoy.

HALF-AWAKE
Saturday mornin,
Sun shines
As I pull back the cheap-ass curtain
Larder stocked, bank balance adequate
YouTube blastin, Kitty purrin
Pandemic mere context
Trump but a glimmer
Last night I dreamed
of the Before Times
Walkin in crowds, a show, no masks
It wasn't all that much
But, friends, it was glorious
Hugs
Et toi?
