It only took my world falling apart for me to understand

That you took me by storm

That without Us, life is pretty bland

My heart is broken, and my patience is worn

I miss your smile; I miss how your eyes looked so warm

I wanted you to be my girl

To be able to tell you how gorgeous you are

And to hug and to twirl

With your messy hair and beautiful eyes

A personality so sweet

That’s so much better than clear skies

And when we finally get to meet

I can present you with a bouquet

On a breezy summer day

I miss the way we used to be

How you laughed at me for being strange

I loved you more than a crystal sea

Or sunny rains

Just wait until the day you walk out and see me leaning against a car

With a silly smile

And hopefully, we can take Us really far

With our happiness on a dial

That’s turned wide open

And endless fun that’s wild

Oh, the day I’ll make you smile…

Very sweet, romantic, hopeful and sentimental.
I loved it and smiled as i ready it.
I am sure any girl would love to have a poem like that written to them.

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! All of my poems are written as a result of a heartbreak but I have hopes that one day a girl will finally decide to stay with me so I can always write poems to her.
