You entered my life like a summer breeze

Always cheerful and warm

Even through the falling leaves

Everyone gathered around you like bees of a swarm

Yet, through it all, you noticed me

I know I’m quirky, I have issues

But just like a summer breeze

I’ll always miss you

You could blame my jealousy

I didn’t want you with that awful person

But I knew I would never be your delicacy

I could never be as great as that someone

Sadly though, your Breezy wind

Left my life without a second thought

As I watched you turn that bend,

I knew you would be a person everyone sought…
