Please don’t say you’re sorry

Don’t give it a second thought

I don’t want you to worry

That it was wrong that I was caught

I promised to give you sixty-one days

To see if you wanted what you chose

Or to leave it all up to Fate

I don’t regret giving you my last rose

Because I’m willing to wait

With this white ring on my pinky

For the entire sixty-one days

Even if it doesn’t seem easy

I’ll always be here each day

I’ll always welcome you back

I know the future is a haze

That you’ll be scared to act

But I don’t hate you

For following your heart

Even when mine is in two

I want you to find that spark

Don’t let me hold you

If that’s not where you belong

But please never forget who

Softly sang you songs

I promised to give you sixty-one days

For you to give me your choice

Just to leave it all up to Fate

Just to hear your soft voice

I love you, dear

But you know that

I miss your smile from ear to ear

I promised sixty-one days before we chat
