Poem that reflect the pain of a falling in love with one who does not feel the same.

The Craving

What is this craving, please explain?

Anxiously want to uncover, companion or a lover

She is clearly like no other

Improper needs for you, to see if these feelings

May be true

Hectic with clay, wit, pals, and chalk

What’s the reward for patient talk?

What is this craving, please explain?

Storm clouds, howling wind, or rain

A need to embrace and ease the pain

And when they clear, and skies are blue

The vision is clearly you

Consideration from the others, eager for lascivious scenes

Looking beyond nervous dreams

What is this craving, please explain?

Rock star you are, clever without par

Skeptical duo from afar

Would you like to discover how far this can grow?

When sun turns into snow

Would you like to uncover the me you do not know?

And wrap this in a bow

You are my craving, my poignant refrain
