Thee Eternal Lie

-

It was a lie

Thinking we would always last

Blinded by the romance

That turned into betrayal

__real fast

All the romantic memories

__vanished

____when you left me for him

Everything I thought about us

Disappeared from being visible to me

When he came into the picture

I felt nothing but pain

Knowing you were going to eventually

__choose him over me

Knowing he was eventually

__gonna steel you from me

The last month

__of the 4 months

____before our breakup

Hurt me like Hell

Seeing you takes walks with him

Hearing you tell me you

__"got 2 lovers, and" you "love them

____both the same"

I knew we were over

And when it finally happened

I knew you weren't just singing a song

All our memories

__were stripped from my consciousness

And thrown away

But can you blame my mind

For throwing the first 3 months

__all away?

For even throwing the 4th. month away?

How it threw away

__all 4 months down the drain?

And making me feel

__like we were never together?

Because you just couldn't close your legs?

Now you're gone

Because I tried to kill my mom

So we can't even be friends anymore

You knew it was gonna happen

And it happened

Now I can't get you back

Even though I'm not celibate anymore

You'll never be my dirty little ride whore

Like you said you'd always wait to be

Well, you stopped waiting

So that was obviously a lie

Just like the love

You said you had for me

And that you always would
