Most of the short stories that I'm posting today are all written off of prompts from Pinterest, so they're not 100% original but I like the spin I put on them, I also wrote these many months ago, I just found the Google Doc I used to write short stories in so they're all going to get posted today and I'll finish some unfinished pieces.

As I walked down the street, I saw that everyone was standing still, facing one direction, looking grim. I walked and walked, and every corner I turned revealed more and more people, all facing North, all just staring. As I walked, my walk quickly turned into a run, which then turned into me full sprinting. I just wanted to find someone who was moving! I stopped running, bolted into the middle of the street, and wildly waved my arms in front of some old guys face. No response. He just kept staring. At that point I thought I was going crazy! Had I taken something the night before? Was that it? No. No, I was 100% sober and the world was ending. And then, out of nowhere, I saw a taxi. He was driving right through the people, as if they didn't exist. I must’ve been mumbling to myself, because he yelled out, “SIR, sir are you talking to someone?”

I looked over at him, and waved him away. He kept asking if I needed a ride, and I kept telling him i didnt need a taxi. I finally gave in once he screamed at me to just get in the fucking car.

“Why are you being so persistent?” I asked from the backseat

“I wanted to know if you were okay. You were out there in the middle of the empty street acting like you were trying to avoid bumping into people.”
