Don't call me

I don't want to answer,

I'll give too much away

Like an exotic dancer.

Please call me

I need you

Needing me

It's what I see.

Don't call me,

I need my sleep.

I need my rest

To try my best

At forgetting you.

Please call at night

And take away the sting.

During the day

I can keep it at Bay.

Please call

Before darkness falls

And the pain becomes a thrall

And cripples me.

Don't call me

I'm not strong enough

To press reject,

In fact I'm trying to forget.

You called,

I answered,

Because there

Is no one

Else.
