This is probably the best romantic poem I have written. I hope you enjoy.

She calms me like the winds upon the shore,
Her eyes a comforting oblivion I adore.
Her smile like sunlight upon the sands,
She's a perfect world resting in my hands.
Her heart thundering like the crashing sea,
Inside that heaven I long to be.

Within her heart I comfortably lay to rest,
Like the divine dove nestled in that nest.
Queen upon the king I hope we stand,
Like the unfallen warrior within the battle land.
Let words as bullets shoot past,
And pray for this love to forever last.

Through time and life, we may fall,
But like the dying Pheonix, we rise from ruins tall.
Forever know I am the shining knight,
To raise you from the dark and into my light.
But if you fall for oblivion, we fall together,
Spiraling down like that of birds of a feather.
