Status: Finished  |  Genre: Romance  |  House: Booksie Classic

A incomplete love story of imagination.

They lied together, their bodies tangled like the roots of an old oak tree.
No words spoken, besides those from the chirping birds in the balcony.
Her love was best expressed in silence, for his touch was enough reassurance.
She was happy.
Happy with all the things around her.

Feeling as though life couldn't possibly get better than this moment right now.

Yet she knew not exactly what he was feeling, only assuming it was the same.

He uttered the words from his delicate lips, the words she wished she didn't hear.
He didn't said it directly, but
She knew it all what he meant.
She was facing a reality.
An unfortunate truth.
He didn't love her. Like she hopelessly loved him.
She was heartbroken.

In her world.
