Well, this is my first time posting a poem and wanted to post about a recent experience in a poem form

An endless sky with limit,

A translucent spectre that clashed,

A ray of light,

Bright enough to scare a soul.

The birds are not warbling anymore,

The butterfolies flapping their wings,

Causing a million hurricanes in me.

But now she does not feel the chaos anymore,

As deserted as an empty meadow,

With an abyss of void.

Her heart could not take the agony anymore.

Like a million pieces of willow,

It broke in the crescent of the body.

In the endless wickedness of the night,

My mind was the most sinful.

The devilry in my soul,

Wanted to end the throbbing for once

and forever.

But her virtuos pith,

was right back at its core,

Ready to give all its endearment.

But this time to a lost ardour,

With a purpose of preserving what is left in the name

of heart,

like a lover's artifact.

Awe. To me, this feels like someone who can't decide whether to give up or keep going for something important. Thank you for writing and sharing this poem with us.
