Vanilla Pearls

Into

the deep blue

that smelled like

vanilla

I stepped,

letting the water

shower me

with pearls.

Scent...

a mere shadow,

bringing a

respiratory pause.

Another dark cloud

drifted overhead,

the air...

it crackled

and I

hummed softly

under my

breath.

I spy with my little eye something beginning with 'T'. Talent? Nope, try TROLL. Why don't you grow up and stop acting like a BIBbed infant, A.S.

Nice work, Hullabaloo. Lovely imagery. "With all the will in the world, Diving for dear life, When we could be diving for pearls."
