A song i had a melody in my head for 20 years. Couldn't come up with words...till now.

Hey there dark eyed lady

Oh ive waited long to find

The wonder i see in you

And your image in my mind

How do you see so much love

Through those ambers in your head

Your eyes speak more than any book that's read.

(Chorus)

So tell me baby

Dont you want to save me?

Your gaze softens me dark eyed lady

When im failing

Baby you amaze me

With just one look

My darked eyed lady

(V2)

Say there dark eyed lady

Is that singing that I hear?

Or is that just the sound of

The angels you draw near

Are those your eyes that warm me

Like a light black golden flame.

They raise the sun and cast away the rain.

(Chorus)

So tell me baby

Dont you want to save me?

Your gaze softens me dark eyed lady

When im failing

Baby you amaze me

With just one look

My darked eyed lady

Oh... so romantic!!!
I loved the lines, "Is that singing that I hear?/ Or is it the sound of/ The angles you draw near."
I would definitely love to hear this put to music.
Great poem.
