I don't know was the best answer I ever received.

“I don’t know”

was the best answer I ever received.

When a young boy inquisitively asks his father, “Why?”

and his all-knowing father does not have an answer

he is provoked out of comfort.

If a man so rich in the chest of knowledge that he could sit on the pile and reach the entirety of it at fingertips length

could not find the answer

who would?

Not me.

Not him.

Not anyone.

This is where the intertwining trees of perception and reality meet harmoniously underground.

At the root of “I don’t know.”

What a beautiful tree

for such a beautiful idea.
