Were Am I? What country?

The black shirts are spoiling for a fight,

Just give them a reason, they say they might

Intimidation is not only alive and well,

They’re promising Election Day Hell

I thought this was only third world stuff,

But it’s here in American, sure enough

Always believed it was for other nations,

But I guess America has gone through mutations

This is no longer the place I once knew,

Days of peaceful, orderly handovers are through

If you accept this high jacking of voter’s rights

What comes around goes around and dims all lights
