You decide.

From the shadows of deception comes the Trickster

Walking on a cloud of "Let's Pretend."

Their eyes are always shining, as they speak,

And what truths they can't break, they just bend.

In the days of yesterday, they spoke as legends

And in the nights of "Ever-After" they spoke like gods.

But now, in the days of "Pick Your Poison"

There is ones on every corner. What are the odds?

The shadows of deception are made by Bankers

Counting Gold and Platinum bracelets made of lies.

They appeal to the voter through the stench and the Oder

By bathing with those buckets of disguise.

But in the days of yesterday, they were no different

Through the ages all snakes are much the same.

So call them what you will, and when you've had your fill,

Understand, the Tricksters rule the game.

Well said! It used to be snakes lived in pits, but now they live in mansions atop hills.
