You know that girl you made fun of for being fat?
She’s starving herself.
You know that boy you made fun of for flinching all the time?
He’s being abused at home.
You know that girl you called a slut?
She was raped.
You know that boy you call annoying for all the noises he makes?
He has Touretts Syndrome.
You know that girl you called ugly?
She just committed suicide.
You know that boy you made fun of for always wearing long sleeves?
He cuts himself, and hides it.
You know that old man you made fun of for those scars on his face?
He fought for this country’s freedom.
You know that random lady you made fun of for crying?
She just found out she has terminal cancer.
You know that kid you said no one loved?
He has no family.
You know that kid you told to kill himself?
He ha had many suicide attempts.
You know that kid you called pathetic?
She just overdosed.

You never know what is going on in someone’s life. So don’t be mean. You never know what someone is going through. How about instead of picking on each other, we lift each other up? Just take a second, and imagine, a world in which bullying wasn’t an issue.
There would be less hate in the world. People wouldn’t feel like they didn’t matter. There would be less suicide. Did you know that every three minutes someone dies from suicide, and every minute, someone attempts suicide? And seventy five percent of those people do it because of bullying. Just think about it.

Uplifting Words

It's pretty sad, but it's true. If someone commits suicide, they leave people behind on earth. It's terrible how often stuff like this happens.

An important message that crucially needs to be conveyed: always think about the consequences of your actions. You never know what someone is going through. Well done!
