I tend to just let it flow, then take notice after I had written. This one could be taken far from my intention. I guess anything can be, depends on one perceives the fact and fiction around them.

In shallow water
A shallow state
Stones to falter
A chance fate

Of margin narrow
In turbulence treaded
Buried by harrow
Undefined direction headed

Old ways linger
In planting seeds
Pushed by finger
To sew greed

Ground up growth
Harvest left barren
Never removing hope
The land baron

Thanks! Just let it go, it's own way, and gave a wee twisty turn depending how you read it.
