Domino

Well, the Native folk were on the path
until they got knocked on their ass
For what it's worth, waste can't be defined
by molecules or inquiring minds

Oh I wish I was an Indian
a Pigmy or even a Mayan
Back when food was of the holy hog
and music shot from the hollowed log

Giants and monsters are falling down dead
right here in the city where I was making my bread
Right here in the city where the buffalo roamed
Right here in the city ........we pushed the domino

When I was a kid the teacher graded my paper
and said it was wrong, for that place was safer
I cried for the race with trust in their hearts
while cowboys and Indians was played in the park

Giants and monsters are falling down dead
right here in the city where I was making my bread
Right here in the city where the buffalo roamed
Right here in the city ........we pushed the domino

Make it or break it or take it below
Love it or shove it you never can know
Rhyme it in time and you'll be planting some seeds
Let's all do a rain dance to fulfill our needs

Giants and monsters are falling down dead
right here in the city where I was making my bread
Right here in the city where the buffalo roamed
Right here in the city ........we pushed the domino
