I'm breathing lies in the air, drinking doubt in the water
I just thank God I have a healthy son and daughter
My love is the truth, My fear is the wrapper
Things seem so simple when they come in a can

More fun than a sponge, the wait of an oyster
The spectrum of change in the perspective of time
Damaged from "Go" sending Angels of mercy
Displacing or freeing could be the fading explanation

Making a point while I feel the flame flicker
Hoping to learn from the times I've been burned
Dried up to dust is not what remains
Dried up life is really the shame

My heart it feels the world needs purifying
But my mind it thinks, this world is surely dying
The land and air and sea is slowly killing me
Through my nose, ears, mouth and eyes, the world gets purified

I'm a filter
I'm filtering out the world so many ways
We're all filters
We're filtering out the world for all our days

I'm filtering out the world inside of me
I'm filtering out the world inside of me
