Just a written stroll near the ocean.

As my feet touch the sand

I hear music,

The waves and the salt-air

make it so.

With the gulls passing by,

fixtures in the sky,

And a sunset

that calms my searching soul.

The Rhapsody of Evening

is played aloud

it is likened

to a rebellious musical rage.

The orchestra,

of calling birds and crashing water,

is enhanced

by glowing lights upon the stage.

So I walk

until the sun is seen no more

which is a time

for opening memory's door

And then I look deep inside,

past the churning tide,

And I remember

What life is really for.
