my painting study "through the sea grapes" and the path ones life takes

Each journey takes us on a path,

Sojourners seeking meaning.

To find our way, holding strong,

beliefs sometimes unwavering

The scene it changes as we go

And we do too I can suppose

The person that had started out

At travels end has changed no doubt.

Opinions had once staunchly set

Have given way to each new bet

Circumstances varying slightly

Mold our understanding brightly

A thing assured, has gone to rent

Ideals once with surety spent.

And looking along the path we steer,

I see the turns that brought me here

To innerstanding, and wisdom near,

That give me hope each change I found

Are down the path that I am bound.

Excellent rhyming, dewey. I love the idea of 'innerstanding' but I'm not sure I'll ever get any.
