Poem

My baby’s a dream,

A wispy, faint beam,

Illusive and dark,

On the wings of a lark.

I want my baby,

Does my baby want me?

My baby’s a sprite,

With eyes shining bright,

And a smile that’s so kind

Running around in my mind.

I miss my baby.

Does my baby miss me?

My baby’s so smart,

With a sweet, gentle heart,

And a young, pretty face,

And a swagger with grace.

I look like my baby,

My baby looks like me.

My baby’s ideal,

Sublime and surreal.

My baby’s a zero.

I’m nobody’s hero.

Would I love my baby?

Would my baby love me?
