Autumn

So many leaves that we see.

They are beautiful to me.

They're yellow, orange, red too.

The cooler nights causes dew.

There's rustling leaves on the trees.

In the air there's a crisp breeze.

There's festivals, fun hay rides.

Sometimes there are happy brides.

Geese, other birds fly away.

There's many games kids play.

There's pies and fun treats for all.

Jack-o'-lanterns and football.

There is beauty everywhere

And cute costumes that we wear.

We are taught to get along,

To be patient, loving, strong.

We're thankful for loved ones dear,

For those that live far and near.

Some have food that they will share.

Some have sadness and despair.
