Yielding

He had

my full attention,

leaving me

trembling

with hatred.

A wave of violent loathing

swept in

like a tsunami;

poison filled my veins.

A voice of fury

and vengeance

screamed,

one I didn’t recognize

as being my own.

I summoned up

every

tiny

drop

of determination

and unleashed it...

and just like that

I invaded his mind,

shredded his thoughts,

buried his memories.

I wanted to laugh,

to cry,

and the tears

won

out.

So this is what it meant

to give in.

Emotions turning in a fiery storm. It is lovely depiction of letting go.
