Until you lived in the past, you won't know how much was lost. We are loosing more now than ever.

Among towering trees that flowered
Their fruits were once rain that showered
Their gold shaken by machine
Working the farmers dream

Foreign markets buying hoards
What should be in our own stores
Grown over neighbor's boarders, cheap
A profit doubled, corporations reap

Now its only buildings that tower
Grown by the Chinese that in power
Gold shaken and taken by policies
Cheap labour working overseas

Commodities come and go
Exchanging the life we know
Replacing our lively hood
By working for Robin Hood

Never seeing you're stealing
Your security is all your feeling
The walls are closening in
Futures changing ways to win
