i stare up

at the sky

ultimate, endless

why am i

a part of it?

why am i here

to mess up

cry some tears

learn who i am

just to die the next year?

why don’t i just shorten the process

life’s just one big giant recess

of pain

and misery

and despair

put the necklace on

stand on the chair

to see my last view of

my leg moves of its own accord

i just want to have a word

with my parents

banging on my door

i yell

don’t fight for me

soon i’ll be gone

it’ll be all right

he’ll comfort her

she’ll be ok

my foot kicks back

i’m not there anymore

i cant breathe

falling, falling

trying to claw my way back up

through the abyss

the endless abyss

i can’t

the blackness

i can’t breathe

i can’t breathe

it’s smothering me

and suddenly
