When the leaves fall from the trees,

And the day shifts to night,


And the breeze turns to a harsh wind,

And the sun shines out less and less light.


When the grass gets buried alive from snow,

And the birds all leave until May,


And the jack-o-lanterns rot into mush,

And an end comes to autumn's display.
