Predicting the future, maybe. Having fun with a poem, definitely. Do I care, Nada.

The Lame Duck days have arrived.

What will the Donald do?

He'll do mischief, no doubt,

Letting the guilty ones out

And cleaning up after the Poo.

Who should he pardon first?

Ah!

Someone bad or even worse.

A person of guilt

That once wore a kilt

And a matching tartan purse.

In the days after Donald

The Duck

Could it be

He'll run out of luck?

I doubt it my friend

The guilty, they defend,

For the rich

They never get stuck.

Ha. I fear you are right, JE. But the poem still brought a smile.

Ever so often you see in in plain sight. Like Nixon, they walk away with a pardon and others take the fall. Stay tuned for the Lame Duck Days.
