Pirates

By Isaac Clason

I ride the ocean tide,

I drift along the sea.

Yo-ho, yo-ho matey,

A pirate's life for me.

I pillage and plunder,

I loot and I steal.

I take what I want,

With a furious zeal.

The world is my oyster,

And I am her king.

I drink to that fact,

While shanties I sing.

The treasure I take,

I keep close by.

I lack no lust for gold,

For greedy am I.
