Mercury Excalibur was the prince of Malpestra. He had everything he ever wanted, wealth, luxury and women. He was the highest member of his society. Mercury was royalty, yet as a dark wizard he had an internal conflict that seemed to last forever. He despised his own life. It bored him and there was nothing to aspire to because he already had it all until he meets Princess Sky Celmusus, daughter of the fairy royalty from the lands of Acalixtor.
Sky Celmusus is kind and gentle. She loves life. She is light. She is the entire opposite of Mercury Excalibur. However, fate has chosen to unite them after years of conflict and war. As a truce, the princess offers herself in matrimony to cease the hostilities and join the lands of the dark wizards.
The land of the dark wizards' powers have depleted, not only from the wars raged on the fairies of the light, but due to their own civil war and the wars on other magical folks of the past. Malpestra doesn't exactly have a lot of alternatives nor allies to continue its war, so the kingdom of dark wizards accept the conditions of the truce and force their only son Mercury to marry the fairy of light.
Everyone knows that their relationship is a farce, but they hope that the agreement lasts to allow both lands to heal and rebuild themselves once again. But after the death of Mercury's father, King Jupiter, strange things begin to happen.
Now Mercury and Sky must make their marriage work or their lands will be at war with each other once again. Will these two unlikely, mismatched couple be able to work together for the greater good, or will their relationship end and the lands be destroyed? And what are the consequences, if they fall in love?
