What have we become?

The world is bleeding from a thousand wounds,
Our search for answers only making them worse

Angry with them, angrier with them, blaming all
Overcrowded cities bursting at the seams,

We're lashing out bulls seeing red, not reason
Needing someone to blame for why we're unhappy

Not enough room to think; claustrophobia
Closing and locking the door behind

I got mine, the hell with you our mantra
Greed and insolence have replaced humanity

The top built from the ground up
Angry words, angry world, angry us

Sad, true, and wonderfully written. Greed ... led us to where we are today in some ways ... more more more for me me me and screw everyone else. I've always believed that money is the root of all evil and greed is a limb off that root. Another good one Mike.
