What is colour?

I'm holding a cold dewy glass, filled with refrigerated water. 'What is the colour of water' I think they asked. I thought about it while looking through my glass at the sunset, and I realized I was drinking a glass of orange and red. It was similar to the time I was with my friends by the shore, and I noticed that everything was filled with white. A white reflection on my black leather shoe. My shoe became black and white, sparkling almost. It is just the same as the time when I was in my room lying in the darkness, where I could only see black. With the absence of light, there is only black.
