“I get it,” said Lucy. “It’s all just… bullshit. All of it. I mean, there is nothing in this world that is not bullshit, on some level. Just as there is nothing in a dream that is not bullshit. It’s we who get to decide what kind of bullshit we’re going to invest in. Although, even that isn’t quite right, because we ourselves are bullshit. We are, after all, raised in bullshit, forced to eat bullshit, and generally merged with bullshit, to the point where we come to think of that bullshit as ourselves. I am bullshit! Like everyone else, I have always been full of bullshit. It’s what we’re made of; it’s what we spend our time thinking about; worrying over; delighting in; promoting; condemning; judging. Bullshit people, living in a bullshit world, throwing bullshit at each other, for bullshit reasons. And I, for one, have had enough of this… bullshit!”
