On a cratered battlefield two armies meet,
Both think their cause is just, both views set in concrete
Keep their heads down as insults arc overhead
One fights for the blue, the other one red
The New Civil War is fought with words not guns
Each thinks they’re winning this war they’ve begun
Sad but true that neither will win this war,
This tit for tat meant for a victorious score,
For each views the world through a different lens
In a battle of wits from their poison pens

Very good, Mike. It describes US tribalism well. It was Trump's divisive tactics that caused the current situation. Lock him up!

Yep, a symptom of a very divided country, I guess, Mike.
