Poem about the grief of a man, who lost his wife.

Companion

He sat on her bed alone, with tears in his eyes

With a deep broken heart, after the demise of his wife

It is now the daughters who are standing by his side

They are giving him the hope to lead rest of his life

No matter whatever hope is given, without his companion he is still struggling to survive

Because, no other one will give him the joy again which will help to arise

This really does illustrate the grief caused by the loss of a long-term loved one. Powerful writing.
