This is a story of the misery that is going on and it is still going on.

There are faces that he cannot get out of his head day after day. The faces all consume him when he goes to the laundry to do the chores of cleaning his clothes. The faces consume him when he is looking into the mirror when he is polishing his teeth with the cheap toothpaste that he bought at the .99 cent store that is on Heathers Street. It is the faces of the meek, the faces of the past that he cannot shake, and the faces that asks of him of why, just why did he lay his burdens down on the decisions that binds him to do nothing? It does matter but what can he do? He is overwhelmed by the limitations that gambled with his mind when his mind breaks, again and again.

The man has worked sixty to eighty hours a week, not remembering what day it is when winding down is a distant memory of depression and pain. All he can remember are the faces that he cannot save when he started to take care of him less and started to take care of the others more. This is the first step when he bought a revolver. Why did he buy a revolver? He thought about playing a game like the same game that all of them play out in the field that has been closed for a long time now. The game is ignored by all when they hit and miss as the masses are trying to run from it but where are they running too? Life has to trudge on when he started to play the fable game with what little time he had to himself when he stopped talking to people that are now on the planet, “Isolation” with insurrection on the mind. Isolation is a universal implication of letting the mind fight against the flesh when the flesh will find another way around this social criminality of disease we cannot see.

The world travels through space, never stopping as the world will get worse before it gets better. Will the world stop? The man will hope to never find out when the revolver getting hotter in his hand when he started to see the face of ghosts that are dancing in a winter’s ball with their hands interlocked and painted faces on their heads. They will dance forever in a freedom of bliss when the man is locked here, trying to speak facts when facts of reason in a time under stress is not how a human society can stay forever. What day is it? The man does not know when he got off work to brandish a cup of coffee at a coffee shop that is close to failing from the lack of profit to keep the bills paid and the lights on. He will go home with the blinds covering the windows when he will laugh at the blank wall and cry at the blank wall. He will laugh and cry at the blank wall before the mixture of feelings will unravel him in insanity. It is nothing but black in his mind when he is disconnected from this world that is trying to connect with the wirings melted and disfigured.

Morning will come when he will play the game in secret with the bullet not striking the hammer to send the gavel of fate down when he will go on with life, wondering soon if this whole roller coaster ride of hell will end. He just smiles and goes about his day when he wondered, just wondered if he can run his car into an oncoming semi and deal himself in? That would be fun to do when the faces of the ghosts haunted him to the point of complete and utter madness. The ghosts will never leave him. Why won’t they ever leave him? That is the burden that is lying in darkness when the man kept going into his place of work and leaving that place of work, not feeling anything anymore when he started to drink more and more to the point of blacking out. That is when he had a dream that he saw Jesus giving him an olive branch that signaled the sign of peace. The man did not take it but he did know the meaning of it when it is the peace of his heart that is broken and not sown back together. His heart is so black that in the end result he is only thinking of himself and nothing else as he awoke to another gloomy day before the alarm clock went off on the end table next to him.

Is he a saint or a coward? He did not know when he looked at the gun that is within the drawer when he closed it and found out as time marched on.
