Although this poem is unrelatable for somee, it is definitely worth a read for all.

Sometimes you just get buried

Into yourself

Headfirst

And you don’t come out for a long time.

You build a cocoon

Of negative protection

Around yourself

And don’t let anyone get to you

Even the people who usually get a task done with easy perfection.

And sometimes you have thoughts like,

No one can relate!

And even if they think they can

It’s already too late

Those thoughts are usually

Not so true

Yet you believe them all the same

And then when people come to comfort you,

You push everything on them

Every possible blame

And for them it’s a great pain

And then both of your feelings become extremely hard to tame

And you just can't help thinking

That you are really

Oh,so very lame.

And that may repeat itself times two

Or maybe even

Three, four or more.

But you should just admit to yourself

That you really miss the way life was,

Even all those petty laws

Because that’s just the way everything is

You miss it for a while

Whether its running for a mile

Or seeing other people smile,

There are so many different things to miss,

But then again you are stuck in a abyss

And you'd do everything but dismiss

Your never ending,uncomprehending

And pressurizing

negative thoughts

Which buzz through your mind

And make your whole world blind

For the bind that you must find

Will remind you that your world must be refined

Even if you consider yourself resigned.

And even if your to scared

To break through your cocoon

Because then you’ll be as open as the moon

And everyone will criticize you for your long stay at the “lagoon”

For they may not know or understand how difficult it was for you

And some might even think that you were slowly eating a prune!

But none of that should affect you

Since all that matters is that your loved ones got you back

Without even using a single nifty hack

They discovered that your strong and that you don’t lack

And that although you sometimes may crack

After a while you will track all your pieces that went wack

And once again start to stack.

And I too believe that you could get yourself back out of the black.

This is very good and so relatable. I struggle with depression all the time. I try my hardest to fight it. I try to use my stories and writing as an escape to a better happier world. But sometimes that's hard because it's hard to write happiness when you aren't. This is really good. I like to believe there's a light at the end of this very long dark tunnel.

Your writing is great and you should definitely keep it up.

Thank you so much,
I figured that a lot of people use writing as an escape from their world, since I and some of my friends do that too. And a lot of my poems are more sad and negative since I was feeling down last week and on, and that's when I started writing my poems.
