Written in six minutes from the conception of the idea, 'Are You One of Us?' is a short vent at detached, bureaucratic overlords - scum to be found in too many places in life, not least of which, the Government. I've utter contempt for these types who see their elevated position as a right to not lead, inspire, or help people, but to throw the book at them, to tyrannise them, to steal and to lie at their expense...

I lament that there are so many of them around nowadays.

I want the humanity back in people so badly.

Are You One of Us?

Are you one of us?

Among those you’re above.

Are you one of us?

Control, without love.

Are you one of us?

Oppression, without fear.

Are you one of us?

None of whom you hold dear.

Are you one of us?

Attentively, you don’t listen.

Are you one of us?

Did we give you permission?

Are you one of us?

Who you coldly order around?

Are you one of us?

Have you any virtue unfound?

Are you one of us?

No, I think you’re not.

You steal and take from us.

To gain all that you’ve got.

You’ll never be one of us.

You’ll never know what it’s like.

Never humble enough to come down.

Never brave enough to join the fight.
