Desolate Bells

(Inspired by ‘Carol Of The Bells’ by Lindsey Stirling)

Derelict and desolate,

the building long abandoned;

never knowing Christmas cheer

and this would be another year.

But then, as if by magic,

it warped into a music video venue.

Lights... camera... action,

with three trees of light refraction.

Snowflakes from the ceiling

that gather all across the floor

as bells ring out from violin strings

and dancers dip and do their things.

That room embraces Christmas cheer

and the future then, it holds no fear

for a building, dejected and abandoned,

has now been loved.
