Warp speed

Eeyore Day fades in the mirror,

The view ahead only gets clearer

Revving up on your trip through the week,

Pass go and collect the $200 you seek

Started off with the lowest of the low,

Hell, it's like a law, Mondays always blow

Tuesday you're headed to a better place,

Which should bring a smile to your face

Wednesday is Hump Day, an uplifting day

The Turgid Fabric Stretcher only gets in the way

Next, The Good Ship Thursday steams into port,

Where frivolity and good times openly cavort

Friday appears next in your shield of wind,

You're almost there, the weekend again

Saturday dawns sunny no matter the forecast.

Better enjoy it, 'cause too-soon it'll be the past

Sunday is cool, but it's garbage day for some

Still better than The Day of Eeyore to come

Every time you blink, another week is through,

And the whirlwind through the calendar starts anew
