A Prose Poem by Wayne
c - 10-6-2009
*** My brother Wayne suffers from severe schizophrenia. When he would call to talk, he rambled on incessantly. Somehow what HE said, turned out to be a load more interesting than any poem I ever wrote! I’m transcribing as fast as I can!

“Madness comes as the gift of Heaven, the channel by which we receive the greatest Blessing.” ~ Socrates Phaedius
“Dad runs a lamp filling everyone’s Horshein. He takes care of a one-bedroom fish. Nerves and tendons shark at you and eat your food, running organs, people have chompers and want to eat food. Any kind of animal - you have better luck taking care of them as a fish.
Calm down.
Lambs think they’re Military. Ram Dude bumps on his head - some old men get the nerves.
Moon room! The animal Orcan died on the Moon so there’s no more energy in July. Instead there are levitations.
Evacuating the town in your own mind.
Army metal tags and roses. President’s brain is recording.
On the telephone, studies Generic people.
Run the Headbane on down and hope they don’t bite you. I was helping a long time when my cat disappeared. I know Aries are a little annoying, but as cats Scandinavians are in the Navy. Hag Signs attack you while you’re on a weather system.
*****(Cat skeleton was later found in a window well in our sub-basement.)
