On The Edge

A life balanced on the edge of sanity.

Narrow, cold as icy steel,

sharp as the blade of any knife,

hence my bloodied feet

as I take another tentative forward step.

There’s not enough space

for turning back

so onwards I tread, in dread.

Nice poem Hullabaloo22. It is very hard to know what anything means anymore. Human beings have behaved so arrogantly, subject to vain supremacy, they have forgotten how vulnerable they really are. You can't nuke a pandemic, despite what Trump would have you believe.

That's very true. For all of humanity's 'progress', nature can still bring everything to a grinding halt and cause devastation while it does.
Thanks, Craig.
