All alone in the building
My body has a hard time keeping my inner rebel yielding
And my thoughts are shielding
As I sit on aa lone step
Waiting for my ride
For the tides
Glide and stride
Out of the building
But my body doesn’t abide
How much longer till my driver is by my side?
I wait, and wait
With each passing second they are becoming more late
But how?
For were talking off my best mate
One which I cannot rate
And one who is very Saint
And as I wrap up this small poem
Drives up the person who was meant to pick me up
And he is
Oh so very abrupt
to give an explanation
Before I can interrupt or disrupt
And so I listen quieter than a pup
And boy does he have a good reason
For it was all traffic of course!
