I Can't Change What I Don't Mean To You

Struggling to love you

Will my love continue?

Will it shatter?

And things not fall thru?

The commonology

__of the tempermental ways

Losing you

__has gone to my brain

Scrambling my mind

And eating me up inside

I want to have you

I want not to die

But you and me both know

You can never be mine

Let's face it

I can't mean to you

__what you mean to me

So how can I love you

The wholeness I can't feel

Because I can't be a part fo you

Like you're a part of me

I slip

__and die

Fall off

__and crack up

____into pieces

Not understanding the reasons

__for your distance

But I cry not

__'cause what would crying do?

It can't change a thing

Can't bring you to me

So I wallow in unstoppable pain

__of not having you

So I

__cannot love you

How can I bother to?

You don't want me to

Thee empty space

__in my heart

Where you belong

__just seems to grow

It spreads thru-out my life

It makes me want to die

But I can't

You'll just never be mine

And it will always stay this way

For all of time

Someday I won't care

But for now

__I still do

You'll forget about me

And there's noting I can do

To stop myself from meaning "nothing"

__to you
