Decorating The Tree
It’s time to pick the tree.
I’m not looking for the biggest
for the one I choose is a third of the size.
Near to the house,
but staying outside;
we’ll decorate it where it stands.
And draped with lights and ornaments
it brings a Christmas sight to our local wildlife.

Nice sentiment. I'll probably have another quiet Bush Christmas. There will be no snow and the evergreen gums are far more Australian than pines.
I don't do Xmas, per se. I celebrate Saturnalia like the Romans did, however, I am too old for drunken orgies and will probably have a quiet day at home with the cats.
All the best,
Craig.
