A collaboration with Hullaballoo 22

Sometimes in my exuberance I get confused,

I mistake a table leg or assorted for a chew toy to use

To gnaw on, for I’m just a puppy, don’t forget

I ain’t learned the niceties and acceptable yet

Sometimes I get carried away, but you love me still,

So I like to gorph on wood shavings till I get my fill

Look at my adorable face, how can you get mad at that?

Besides, it was already ruined by the kneading cat!

Sometimes my enthusiasm, it seems to hold sway,

and all my good intentions are buried by the way.

But please do not scold me, there was zero intent;

my obedience was challenged and away it went.

You can buy another table, or, whoops, another chair,

but I’m sure you’d never like to find that me, I am not there.

So look into my eyes and watch my wagging tail;

I know my canine charm on you will never ever fail.
