i feel bad for making matilda more of a plot device then an actual character. her and xade should've been old friends and their friendship should've been the heart of the series. but no we got to go through more boring exposition and monologuing. also, that overly complicated explanation for why dracula is an old man in this version was my lame excuse to have the character based on christopher lee. and my stupid younger self actually believed if this were to be adapted, he would play dracula. yeah, no. it doesn't work like that and i was an idiot for thinking that -.-
