Chips,

Dangle from

Their broken

Shaved skulls,

Their perfect

Nirvana minds

Bashed by

Vivaldi's Four

Seasons,

As they 

Preach,

Loving Kindness

Compassion

And revenge,

On those

Who assaulted

Them...

Robot monks? A splendid idea; no more shaving of heads, automated prayers. Change the religious chip to fit your own religion. There must be a market for them.

Thanks for the comments Bert. I wonder if you're familiar with the book The Lotus and the Robot by Arthur Koestler, his critique of Eastern Philosophy, well worth a read. The poem was based on a rather unsettling nightmare, and a documentary I saw about cricket in India.Tibetan monks playing cricket against the backdrop of the Himalaya!
