Illusion of certainty

I say potato, you say fake news,
I say black, you say white

The gulf between us gives me the blues
I see the middle-left, you see far right

I see a balance, you see what you want
'A potato's not a potato,' the Kool-Aid runs deep,

Served up by purveyors of a warped font
Democracy reduced to a smoldering heap

Facts have never been so "alternative" as they are these days. Realistic poem, Mike, and smartly expressed.
